In addition to my forever-love of and commitment to the art of photography and teaching, I am a folk herbalist and the purveyor of the online shop In the Wood Botanicals. It is a privilege for me to be able to do this through my website, books, and online course offerings. I am a teacher in spirit and have a sincere desire to share with you what I have learned a lifework that is deeply rooted in the core of my being. I’ve been an avid Photoshop user for nearly 17 years and enjoy using iPhone apps that allow me to create richly-layered digital works of art with my imagery. I am a photoartist who has a passion for capturing beauty through both my iPhone camera and Canon digital SLR lenses.
